Banaue. Home to UNESCO World Heritage Site, the over 2000 years old, Banaue Rice Terraces. Best is from Viewpoint but can also seen from the Banaue Hotel as they are incredibly big. The hotel has nightly traditional dancing.
Sagada. One of the world’s engineering & cultural wonders from the picturesque Hill Station base with its distinctive rice terraces, burial and limestone caves, waterfalls and pine forests. Baguio. One among the many top destinations in the Philippines, especially those seeking a cooler climate. Must see places of interests include, Mine's View Park, Burnham Park, Wright Park, former United States airforce rest and recreation (R and R) Camp John Hay, with its first class gold course and the Baguio Market, where you can buy the freshest veggies and strawberries at very affordable prices. Day 1: : Morning departure from Manila to Baguio City. Travel approximately 4 hours, check in at Microtel Baguio. Proceed with city tour and stay 1 night with breakfast. Day 2: Travel to Banaue along the highest highway in the Philippines through the Cordillera Mountains. Check into Banaue Hotel. Day 3: Visit Banaue Museum. Proceed to Viewpoint and enjoy one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Banaue Rice Terraces. Smile with the Ifugaos natives and take a souvenir photo with them. Hike to Batad , the oldest rice terraces. Day 4: Travel via Bontoc to Sagada and tour to the hanging coffins. Choose from a lengthy list of activities from pottery to biking to rafting to hiking into the villages and learning about the Dapay (traditional form of government). Stay overnight in a lodge. Day 5: Travel about 11 hours back to Manila. |
