Boracay Island -Siargao Island- 8 days

Boracay Island is located south of Manila about 1 hours flight to Caticlan (MPH) then a 10 minute ferry ride across to the island port. It is a small and narrow island off the north western corner of Aklan at only 7 kilometres long and has some excellent resorts for most budgets. The main "White Beach" faces the Sulu Sea and is about 3 kilometres long and is made of very fine white sand with perfect swimming conditions. As a safe tourist island, it is ideal for families, couples and singles. Weather is best between November and May when the prevailing winds blow onto the back of the island and the rainfall is much less. The island was closed to tourists for 6 months from April to October 2018 for major renovations to the beach and back road that gives access to the resorts. All resorts had to comply with new regulations mainly applicable to sewerage treatment to prevent pollution to the surrounding sea and beaches.
Siargao Island, some say,  is the best surfing destination in the Philippines. Cloud Nine has a year round right and left break. The Island of Siargao is a tear-drop shaped island in the Philippine Sea situated 800 kilometres southeast of Manila in the province of Surigao del Norte.  The east coast is relatively straight with one deep inlet, Port Pilar. The coastline is marked by a succession of reefs, small points and white, sandy beaches. Many new resorts are being developed and it is not crowded.

From cooking with the locals to being cooked by the locals, the kawa hot baths are an experience not to be missed.
