1. SUBIC BAY: The former United States Navy Base is still in operation but now more as an export zone where many goods are made just for export around the world. There a still a lot of hotels and resorts in the area and excellent diving trips can be arranged with a local Australian expat who Robert Graham has known for over 30 years.
​GETTING THERE: The only way at present is by road. The trip takes about 2 hours form Manila.
​STAYING THERE: Located right on the bay front is Vascoes which has a fantastic museum of artifacts from Chinese and Spanish ship wrecks, some over 1000 years old. The restauant serves Filipino and western dishes. The owner in an Australian expat and former famous diver.
​DOING THERE: Zoobic is an intercative zoo with great shows of farm animals that kids will really enjoy.

​2.TAGAYTAY: Tagaytay City is located on the cliffs overlooking the world smallest active volcano TAAL which is located in LAKE TAAL which the enormous crater of an extinct volcano.
​GETTING THERE: By road from Manila takes about 2 and half hours. See more on PHILIPPINE TOURS 
​STAYING THERE: Nurture Wellness and Spa is the ideal place to relax and be pampered. The food is excellent and Robert Graham says it is up there with best he has ever eaten.
DOING THERE: Take a trek to TAAL volcano. A boat takes you cross the lake and you can walk to the rim or catch a donkey ride. You will never guess what is in the middle of the crater.

3. PUERTO GALERA:  Located near Calapan some of the very best diving can be enjoyed in the area around Mindoro Island. There as also some nice beaches in the area but most of the resorts have rocky water in front of them.
​GETTING THERE: By road from Manila to Batangas takes about 3 hours then by boat to Puerto Galera takes about 1 hour.

​4. LIPA CITY: The Farm at San Benito has received over forty prestigious international awards for its holistic healing programs, signature treatments, luxurious amenities, and innovative live cuisine.
​GETTING THERE: By road from Manila takes about 2 and half hours.
